TRAINING NOTES.
(CojiTRIBUTKD.) The work done on the training tracks on Friday and Saturday mornings was unimportant as the horses engnged at the forthcoming meeting of the T.R.C. are, with a few exceptions, all very fit. Tho following horses were on the ground and w. re all restricted to walking ex rcise, Moody, Jack, Myrtle, fhe Masher colt, Clianco, Rona, Janettc. Unit, Foreman, Silver King, Pcaltheen, and No Mistake. Camerineand Warrior were on the mceeourse doing a trial, the result of which I am m a fog about, as on asking for information I was politely put off with an evasivo answer. But no matter, all I can say is that they are two very slippery customers, and next Tuesday the " Indicator" will tell which is favorite. Mokarakura, Viking, and Vanity Fair will arrive m town by the first train this morning. Quarters have been secured for them at the Washdyke Hotel. The northern horses will arrive by express, viz., Wrangler, Bagshot, Fraud, Lubra, and Rose. At time of wriiing these notes the rain was coming down m right good earnest. It will do an immense amount of good to the country, but will be very inconvenient if it continues for horse owners, and should the course be heavy on Tuesday next it will make a vast deal of difference to the performances; of the horses. I will now proceed to give your readers my tips from a fine day point of view: — TWO MILS HUBDLB3. Moody 1 Lubra ... ... ... ... ... 2 SQtrATTZBS' STAKE.
