A PUBLIC MEETING of the RATEPAYERS of that part of the WAIHAO RTDING of the Waimato County, which is within the Timaru Harbor District, will be held at tho Homestead of John Douglas, Esq. Waihao Downs, ON THiR3L)»Y, the 29th day of October, 1885, at 8 p.m., for the purpose of considering and discussing a proposal of the Timaru Harbor Board to Borrow a further sum of £100,000, under the provisions of the Harbors Act 187H, and the Timaru Harbor Board Loan Act 1885, for the Extension of the Breakwater, Dredging, Reclamation, and Erection of Wharves, Jetties, and Harbor Improvements generally, as limited by the Harbors Act 1878.
