HUNT CLUB SPRING MEETING.
[By Cable — Reuter's Aoe-SCT.] (Received 8.10 p.m., Oct. 3rd.) Melboubse, Oct. 3. The Melbourne Hunt Club held its spring meeting at the -Flemington course to-day. There waa a fair attendance, and the various events were well contested. Tho Hunt Club Cup, a welter handicap steeplechase, distance two miles, brought out a field of nine horses, only four of which finished, as follow : — Kulkyno ... ... ... ... 1 Gold-top 2 Jack Sheppard 3 Time— sn__in 23sec.
