(Free.)— The season for Now Zealand butter haa now practically closed, and althongh, temporarily, there ia a good demand for all descriptions, yet we anticipate that present prices cannot hold for long m the face of the heavy apring supplies of the local article soon to come forward. During the past fortnight we have placed some 300 kegs at the following rates : — Selected Canterbury, Is 4d ; roll butter, la Id to Is 3d ; mediam qualities, lOd to Is ; pastry, 5d to Cd. WHEAT. (Free.)— Heavy supplies havo weakened this market considerably, and prime Now Zealand Tuscan is offering freely at 3a 5d to 33 6d without meeting response, whiiat fowls' feed and good second quality find buyers at from 2s 6d to 2a lOd. BARLEY. (Free.) — Market dull. New Zealand feed descriptions being neglected at 2s Od. OATS. (Free.) — In sympathy with maize thia market haa hardened considerably, and up to 2a 5d can be obtained for all really prime bright stout feed descriptions, and we look for still higher rates. BRAN (Free) — Is at the moment m request, and aa high as Is 2d has been paid for somo of tho lato consignments. POLJ.ARD (Free) — Remains (jniet and haa a small sale at from lid to Hid. "pOTATOEH.
