BLUE RIBBON MEETINGS.
. TO THE EDITOR OF THE TIMARU UEIIALD. 3 Sib, — Twice has Mr Booth, the Blue i Bibbon lecturer, promised to visit Titnaru, t and twice has he failed to keep his promise, . the last time no doubt unavoidably owing to t sickness. Yet in your valuable paper this 1 morning we hear that he is able to travel i north in order to keop his appointments in t the larger towns (where the almighty dollar f is more plentiful). Surely, aa Mr Booth E mixes roligion .with his temperance cry, he ; ought to be more consistent in keeping his ' promise. I should like to know if the Com- . tnitt-ee intend refunding the money for tickets sold, or are ticket-holders to look in faith to another vague promise of a visit ? i I am, &c, [ MODEEATION. [ [Our correspondent's last question is I answered by a notice in our local columns. — I Ed. T.H.I
