Leather and hides are unaltered. May 28. It is announced that the Admiralty have definitely adopted tho Brennan torpedo, which is the invention of au Australian Engineer. An important conference was held at the Admiralty yesterday between the colonial Agents-General and Admiral Sir Cooper Key, Senior Naval Lord, on the subject of colonial defences.
