Colonial breadstuffs — Adelaide wheat ex store, 395, an increase of Is ; Adelaide flour ex store has risen Is and is now at 28s. New Zealand wheat ex store is unchanged at 323 to 37a. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,170,000 quarters, an increase of 200,000 quarters during the week. Tallow — Australian, • fair average quality beef, 31s 6d ; ditto mutton, 335. The present stock of tallow m London is 16,900 casks. New Zealand frozen mutton, ojd to Bid. May2r The Shaw-Savill & Albion Co.'s s.s. Doric, from Wellington (March 22nd), arrived at Plymouth this afternoon. Her shipment of frozen meat is m good condition. Consols have further advanced to 96. New Zealand securities are at last quotations. The market rate of discount has been reduced Jto 2£, and is now 1 per cent below the Bank rate. Colonial breadstuffs are at yesterday's prices. Tallow and hide 3 are at previous quotations. May 3. The Queen returned to Windsor yesterday from the Continent. The Colonial Federation Enabling Bill has been finally passed by the House of Lords.
