The Merchant Shipping and Underwriters' Asaociatioiureport the arrival of the ship Canterbury, from Lyttelton (left January 17th), with 9000 carcases of mutton. Ottawa, April 28. News from the Saskatchewan district states the care of the wounded and the difficulties of transport are delaying Major-General Middleton's advance, and m the meantime the rebels are rapidly retiring. The shareholders of the Orient Steam Navigation Company have decided to appoint an inspection committee, and the Directors' report, which recommended that no dividend should be declared this year, was adopted. It is believed that the Egyptian Government will apologise to France for havingsuppressed the Botphore Egypticnne paper.
