The National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) reports of the local markets as follows: — Wheat — The market is excited at 3s lOd to 3s lid per bushel. Oats— New Zealand feed oats are m fair demand at 23 9d to 3s ; ditto milling have rather more enquiry at reduced prices, the latest quotations being 3s to 33 2d ; New Zealand oats under bond 2s to 2s 4d. Barley is neglected at 33 6d to 4s sd. Ryegrass seed is m greater demand at slightly improved prices, 3s 9d to 4s 7d. The same Company reports the sale of kauri pine as follows . — Hewn logs per 100 ft super, 12s ; sawn flitches, 15a 6d ; dressed boards, g-inch, 223 6d ; i-inch ditto, 16s 3d ; T. and G. flooring per 100 ft lineal, G x I£, 3ls 9d ; ditto, G x 11, lls 6d ; ditto, 6 xi,9s 6d ; ditto, 4 x l£, 10s ; ditto, 4xl l-9th, 8s 3d. The tone of the market is steady.
