Coptic arrived here yesterday morning from London, and sailed m the afternoon for New Zealand. Melbourne, April 12. The Merchant Shipping and Underwriters' Association announce the following scale of war risks will be charged for insuring vessels between England and the Australian colonies : — Outwards — Steamers, f per cent ; sailing vessels, £ per cent ; homewards — steamers, } per cent ; sailing vessels, £ per cent.
