Wellington, April 8. New Zealand — Fine weather, with high pressure, especially m the north ; wind light, northerly. Australia — High pressure on tho east coast of Australia; a depression is approaching from the west ; generally fine, with N. and N.W. winds, except at Sydney, where it is southerly. Barometers— ln New Zealand : At Bussell, 30.3 ; Wellington, 30.2 ; Bluff, 30.1. In Australia : At Albany, 29.9 ; Hobart, 30.0 ; Portland, 30.1 ; Sydney, 30.3.
