The number of men m the reserve force which is about to be mobilised will be 20,000, not 40,000 as previously reported. (Received 1 a.m. March 27th.) London. March 26. Frequent interviews have taken place during the past few days between Earl Granville, the Foreign Minister, Musurus Pasha, Turkish Ambassador, and Hassan Fehmy Pasha, Turkish Speoial Envoy. The fact has given rise to rumors that an arrangement is being concluded for an Anglo-Turkish alliance m the event of an outbreak of hostilities between England and Russia. (Special to the Press Association.) [Received 10.30 a.m., March 26th.J London, March 25. Great energy is being displayed m fitting out eleven warships at the Devonport Dockyards. Each vessel will carry six months' supplies. A number of Mahommedan notables m India have asked the Duke of Connaught to urge the Sultan of Turkey to ally with England against Russia.
