New Zealand securities :- 5 per cent 10 40 loan, 10H, ex div. ; 4£ per cent 1879---1904 loan, 100 A ; 4 per cent inscribed stock, 98J. Colonial breadstuff's— Adelaide wheat, ex store, 36s ; New Zealand do 28s to 34s ; Adelaide flour, 25s 6d. Tallow — Australian, average quality, beef, 31s 6d ; mutton, 333. The market rate of discount has declined to 2|, and is now f below the Bank rate. Wool — The catalogue to-day comprised 12,400 bales. The tone of the sale was weak. The Australian mails from Melbourne, dated February 12th, via Brindisi, were delivered to-day.
