NEW ZEALAND DEFENCES. Auckland, March 12, At a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce 1 Executive Committee to-day, a resolution was 1 carried urging the Government to take im--1 mediate action for the defence of ' Auckland! 1 The resolution will come up for ratification at 1 a meeting of tho Chamber to-morrow.
