The Directory of the ROYAL FLOURING MILL COMPANY (Bhtjce & Co., Limited) have reselved on an extension of Capital to the extent of 1000 Shares, payable m Calls of £1 per share every three months, making m all 2000 Shares issued of £10 each. The object of the Directors m doing so is to place the Company m a favorable monetary position to meet the extensively increasing trade ; first, m the purchasing of Grain and the Erection of Elevators for tho economical Working and Storago of Wheat ; and secondly, for the Fitting of the Oatmeal Machinery, for which the necessary Buildings and Fixtures are already provided. Tho additional Shares proposed to bo issued will rank from the first of July 1884, m tlie same proportion with the first issuo as to Dividends, viz., from July to December, for six months. The Directors would earnestly invite Ihe cooperation of Farmers and other Gentlemen interested m the welfare of South Canterbury to liberally tako np the Shares, bo as to allow the fullest development of this most important local industry, believing it to be of the greatest interest to Fanners and Land Proprietors to support the Company. Many special reasons might be given, but one will sufilco, viz., the fact that it opens up a largo local Market for the produce of tho Farm. For six mouths the Mill has now been m active operation, and has proved a great success. The Machinery is unequalled m tho Southern Hemisphere, and tho production of Flour both m purity and quality is unrivalled. Tho Directors have pleasure m stating that r. great demand for the Flour lias now arisen, and tho sale has increased to such an extent that tho Mill is now working twenty-four hours daily to overtake tlie demand, 10,000 bushels of wheut being the weekly consumption.
