The markets for colonial breadstuff's and tallow are without quotable change. At to-day's wool auction, 12,300 bales were catalogued. The demand was steady Lut not active. A poor selection of wools was offered. May 27. Telegrams have been received from Souakim Btating that messengers have arrived there from Berber, who report that the country northward of Khartoum is m a state of comparative tranquility, and that the rebellion is nowhere serious except m the immediate neighborhood of Shendy. «
