PRIZE FIRING.

The annual firing of the Temuka Bifle Volunteers for the prizes contributed by tradesmen and friends'of tbe Company took place on Monday last at Temuka. The weather was all that could be desired. The ranges were 200, 400, and 600 yards, with seven shots at each. Tbo honorary members' r.nges were 200 and 400 yards, with five shoti at each. Major Yonng, assisted by Corporal Uprichard, acted as marker. The following are tbe details of the firing :— VOLTJHTBBBB.
