Arrived, yesterday, at King George* Sound — P. and O. steamship Mirzapora, with the English mails via Brindiai, dated London, 25th January. [Received 10 p.m. March 3rd."i Adelaide, March 3. A dcstrnctive fire occurred to-day at Cowoll Brothers' timber yard, Norwood, r as nl ting m the total destruction of the stock and premises adjoining. The building was also destroyed. The insurance amounts to £10,000, but the loss is considerably greater. The disaster is believed to be the work of an incendiary. Melbourne, March 3. The London Chartered Bank of Australia at Horaham, a town m the northwest of this, colony, was broken into by burglars last night. The safe was found open and over £5500 had been abstracted, chiefly m notes, the numbers of which are unknown.
