Messrs Maclean and Stewart report for the past week aa follows, viz. : — Horses.— There was little business doing m horses at their yards to-day. The entry wss considerably under the average, and tbj quality, with few exceptions, under the mark. They report a doll demand and pricos low. They sold a few at , the following quotations :— Fair and medium' draughts, from LlB to Ll!4; %hfc harness horses and hacks, from LBtoLl6. Sheep.— There js little alteration m prioas or m the derarad for storo sheep, and unless owners ars prepared to reduce their values, they do no not anticipate many lots to change hands tfll after harvest. They have made no sates of unporiiuice during the week. Fat Shosp— At Studholmo Junction, last Monday they sold a line of merino ewes at B*. Present pneas are equal to about 3d per lb for prime quality mutton. Cattl^— They have no sales m store cattle to report -with the exception of a few staers 2°3 heifers sold at Studholme Junction on the 7th. They qaote values similar to last woak'a quotatkms.
