The s.s. Waitaki arrived from Duiiedin early yesterday with general cargo, and after discharging left for Dnnedin, -da Oamarn, about 11 o'clock. At Oamarn she was to take m cargo for transhipment to the s.s. British Queen. The We3tport Coal Company's a.s. Kamitiri is expected to arrive from Oamaru tomorrow. She has been chartered by the Union S.S. Company, and will load grain here for Auckland. Tho brig Fawn is expected to be clear of her coals to-day. Messrs R. Wilkin and Co. have chartered her to load produce for Sydney. Tho barquentine Annie Bow commenced taking m cargo yesterday. She goes to Sydney with produce shipped by Mr Wm. Evans. The brigantine Ada C. Owen is shortly expected from Newcastle with a cargo of coal for Mr W. Evans. Tho schooner Young Dick cleared at Sydney for Timaru, via Newcastle, on October 2nd. Tho barquo Seatoller left the Bluff for Timarn yesterday. Tho American barqne Norway, which was ordered to sea, on Saturday last, made the roadstead again early yesterday morning, and was met by the Harbor Master m the Titan with her master, Captain Knowles, and her Blipped anchor and cable on board. These boing put on board she sailed for Capo Town. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company announce m another column that the magnificent steel-built Bteamer British Queen will bo despatched for London about the end of this month. The saloon, second saloon and Bteerage accommodation is very snperior and of the most comfortable character.
