SUPREME COURT.
[By Telegraph.] Auckland, Oct. 3. In the Supreme Court K. Bell and B. Gibbons were sentenced to twelve months each for breaking and entering. W. Bornt, aged 70, charged with indecently assaulting a little girl, was found guilty of common assault, sentence being deferred. Wellington, Oot. 3. The Supreme Court was occupied all day hearing the charge against Thomas McLellan, s> local bootmaker, for receiving a quantity of boot uppers from two youths, knowing them to hare been stolen. The jury hare retired, aod the foreman has intimated there is a probability of their not agreeing. Later. McLellan was found guilty and sentence deferred until Monday.
