Evans. The ketch Palmerston sailed for Oamaru early yesterday morning. The Oceola took her departure! for Sydney yesterday morning, hut owing to tho light breeze was still iv sight last evening. Tho Mary Campbell wa3 clear of her coals yesterday. She will tako m produce for Greymonth. Tho Ransom came alongsido tho outer wharf early yesterday, njirl started taking m produce. She goes to Auckland. The barque Lm-liue took m about 2000 sacks of grain yesterday, and the Aranco 600. The former now requires only abont 3500 sacks to fill her up, and if shippers hurry up cargo, sho should be ready for sea to-morrow. The s.s. Waitaki is expected to arrive from Dnnedin this morning. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company annonnco m another column that the s.s. Doric, which leaves Lyttelton for London about tho end of this month, will carry- a limitod quantity of butter and cheeso m a specially prepared chamber, m which an even temperature will be maintained. Immediate- application for space is necessary-. . Our English telegrams this morning contain advices of the arrival at Home of the barques Salado and Auriga, after passages of 127 and 10- days respectively. (By Telegraph.)
