ARRIVAL OF THE SHIP RANGITIKEI.

The New Zealand Shipping Company's fine iron clippor ship Rangitikei, Captain Milman, arrived from Auckland on Saturday morning, after a rather protracted passage of 16 days, caused by head southerly winds. She was met about three miles out by Captain Storm, acting-Harbormaster, m the tug Titan, and towed inside the Breakwater, where she was safely berthed. She is drawing about 14ft 6in, and, after discharging 600 tons of ballast, will take m about 900 or 1000 tons of grain before going to the outer anchorage She carrios, when full, about 17,000 sacks of grain on a dranght of 20ft pin. The Bangitikei is the largest vessel which has yet come inside the Breakwater, and we trust that the enterprise of her owners m sending her hero will secure for her exceptionally good despatch. She is the largest of the Now Zealand Shipping Company's fleet.
