There were no arrivals or departure among tlio shipping m port yesterday. The barqne Ganymede commenced discharging yesterday afternoon. She -will be brought inside the Breakwater this morning. The brigantine Oceola is now 22 days out from NewcaaUe, and may therefore be looked for any hour. The s.B. Waitaki i» advertised to leave for Dtraedin via Oamaro at 11 a.m. to-day, imtead of for Dnnedin direct at 5 p.m. Tho brigantine Endeavor, from Kaiparft, brought 59,600 feet of timber for Mr John Jackson and Mr T. T. Brownell. The acting-Harbor Master yesterday received tho following telegram from Captain Edwin -.—Watch barometer : bad weather approaahing between N. aud W. and W. and S. Glas3 further fall, and «ea heavy within 12 hours." Advices have been received of the arrival at Home, on August 12th, of tho barque Electra, from Timaru, after a paisage of 114 days. (Bt Telegraph.)
