■wool. Tho wool salo programme has been curtailed by one day and closed firmly. The quantity" sold during the sales was 260,000 bales. "IGO.OOO bales havo been taken for export, and 35,000 bales have been held over for future disposal. Combing and clothing, washed, scoured, greasy, and superior greasy and coarse washed cross-bred have all declinod 1 Id per lb since the close of last sales. Superior ' clothing, washed, lias declined Id to ltd per lr> j medium and inferior greasy, fine greasy, cross-breds, coarse greasy cross breds, fine washed cross-breds, and fine scoured crossbreds, have all declined Id to Id per lb. The next sales will commence on the 10th May, and will include ' 350,000 bales of fresh arrivals and 35,000 bales old stocks.
