ARRIVED. June 17— Wanganui, schooner, from Greymouth. June 17 — Mary Ogilvie, schooner, from Stewart's Island. June 17— Otago, ship, from Glasgow. June 17 — Nonpareil, barque, from Newcastle. BAILED. Juno 17 — Jane Hannah, schooner, for Timaru. Tho ship Otago, from Glasgow, arrived here to-day, after a passage of 102 days. Fino weather was experienced throughout the voyage, excepting when a storm arose a fewdays after leaving, whicli compelled her to carry her pilot to Madeira, where he was landed. Three deaths occurred on the passage. R. McKay died on the Sunday after tho ship had left Glasgow, of acute inflammation of tho brain. A man named Donald Kennedy fell from the foro royal-mast headforemost into the sen, nnd all efforts to save him were without avail. Tho other death was that of Joseph Welsh, a steerage pasBenger, of hemorrhage of the lungs. Auckland, June 17. A fierce gale is now blowing. The Wanaka put to sea to-day, but the Pretty Jano and Southern Cross havo postponed their sailing till to-morrow. Wellington, Juno 17. Arrived— Laurel, schooner, from the Bay of Islands. Tho steamer Huia, when endeavoring to cross the Foxton bar, on Friday morning, took the ground, and still remains fast, although m a better position. Sho has sustained no damage, aud is expected to be floated off to-morrow. Oamabu, Juno 17. Arrived — Waitaki, s.s., and St. Kilda, ss., from Dunedin. Sailed — Waitaki, s.s., for Dunedin, and St. Kilda, s.s., for thc North.
