THE NATIVE DISTURBANCES IN THE NORTH.
[Br Telegraph.] Wellington, June 17. The Slella last night took sixty more of the Armed Constabulary, and 50,000 rounds of ammunition, to larauaki. Fifty more men will be ready at the end of the week. A large number of lending natives on the West Const have telegraphed to the Government, stating that they are going to Parihaka to endeavor, at to-morrow's meeting, to dissuade To Whili from anything likely to cause a breaek of the peace, and bring misfortune on the tribes. The arming of the settlers, und the display of forty turn, has had a most salutary effect on the native mind.
