Hart " We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth m a separaty report, show that this spirit v of good Btrength, practically free from acidito and that it contains but traces of }\osd matter m solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam's SehnappJ is a very Superior Article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. " Sic, — I have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to etate that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that has as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently b;en distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt m the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and m this respect compares favorably with other samples offered for Bale. It may be advißed as equally suitable for medical or economic purposes.
