There has been but little business transacted during the week m the grain market, We learn that a large quantity of wheat that haa left Timaru lately is now being shipped for England, freight having been reduced again to 455. Quotations remain the same as last week for prime samples of grain, viz. , 4s 4d for wheat, 4s 2d for oats, and 4s 6d for barley. LAND SALES. The Lyttelton Times of Saturday last reports as follows : — The dullness which we noticed last week still continues, and there is little business to report, deliveries from farmers having been almost nil. We have no alterations to report, and can only repeat last week's priefs, which may be considered nominal, viz. : — Wheat, 4s 3d to 4s 4d, or 4s 5d for extra prime ; oats, 4s to 4s 3d ; barley, good bright malting samples, 4s 6d to 4s 9d.
