TIMARU— Monday, October 21. [Before P.. Woollcombe, Esq. X.M.] DRUNK anu disorderly. John Wilson was lined os for this offence. James Nolan wus charged wifch being drunk and disorderly, and with assaulting and resisting the police ; also, with making use of obscene language m the street. For tiie lirst offence, prisoner was repremanded ; for the second and third offence he. was tined 10s, or two weeks' imprisonment with hard labor. larceny as a bailee. Plaintiff was ordered to pay costs. T. G. Coik v M. Barrett— claim £9 9s 6d. Defendant appeared m answer to a judg-ment-summons to show cause why the above debt uas not paid. He stated that he was a married man wish four children, m constant work, receiving 25s per week aud his own board. Ordered to pay 10s per week.
