In cases where the prizes offered exceed £1, the entrance fee will be ss ; under £1, 2s 6d. All entries to be made with the Secretary on or before the 23rd October. No entry can be received after that date, and the Committee will m no case consider an entry valid unless the fees be paii at the time of making it. Exhibitors m private classes will not be called upon to pay entrance fees; and extra stock or implements, which cannot be exhibited m any of the advertised classes, will be admitted free, with the consent of the Stewards. GENERAL REGULATIONS. 1. All implements to be on the ground by 10 o'clock on Monday, October 28th, on which day the implements will be tried. 2. All cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry to be on the ground by 9 o'clock on Wednesday, October 30. 3. All horses to be on the ground by 10 o'clock on Wednesday, October 30. 4. All horses must be haltered and led, and.one man must be m attendance with each lot of horned cattle. 5. All servants m charge of stock admitted free, and subject to the order of the Stewards. 6. Exhibitors will be required to state as accurately as possible, at the time of entry, the date of birth of all stock m classes where the age is specified ; also m sheep, the date of shearing. 7. Pedigree of all thoroughbred horses must be deposited with the Secretary at the time of making entry. 8. Exhibitors of poultry will be required to find their own pens. 9. Exhibitor of grain to state the quantity he holds for sale and the price he will dispose of the same. 10. No stock or implements exhibited to be removed from the yard until four o'clock on the day of Show, except with the consent of the Stewards. 11. The Stewards will not under any cir cumstances, hold themseves responsible for loss, damage, or misdelivery of stock or implements exhibited at the Show. 12. In the event of there being no competition m any class, no prize will be given unless the Judges certify to particular merit. Power is also reserved to withhold a prize where the Judges consider it ought not to be awarded for want of sufficient merit. 12. All protests must be left with the Secretary before 2 o'clock on the day of Show. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE JUDGES.
