Tuesday, 5 p.m. Mr Dick, who resig-ned his seat m the House of Representatives according to promise, has been re-elected without opposition for Port Chalmers. A stockman named Thomas Pasco, was drowned last week m the Mataura. On Sunday morning-, a fire occurred at Tokoinairiro. Mr James Smith's stables destroyed. Seven valuable horses, besides the entire horse Samson, burned. Cause of fire unknown. Geelong- arrived last night at eleven.
