BRITISH TROOPS FROM EST- 1
COURT.
LONDON, Nov. 27,
Mr. R. C. Tooth of Sydney has given £10,000 to the war relief fund. It is considered probable that this was the recently announced donation by an anonymous Australian. DURBAN, Nov. 27. Ten thousand British from Estcourt are marching northward.
(Per Preen Afi&ooiaton.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 28. The Premier received tho following cable from the Agent-General this morning: "General Methuen gained a second viotory at Gaspan. Fighting still going on in Natal indecisively.''
