AUCKLAND, November 26,
The spring carnival of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Olub was held this afternoon in the Domain. There was. perfect weather and the attendance about 3000, but the racing was rather tame. The following ara the results of the principal events | 100 yds Flat —Watson 1, Gilmour I (Taranaki) 2, Mayson 3. lime, 10,2*5 sees,
Half Mile.—Mayson 1, Anderson 2, Gilmour 3. Time, lmin 58 2<ssecs.
Jong Jump.—Brownlee (Dunedin) 1, Stych 2, Madill 3.
Two Mile Alliance Bicycle Chains pionship of New Zealand,—H. H. Brook 1, H. Coatea 2, 0. Henning 3, Time, 6min 3 4*>ssecs. Thompson (Ohristchurch) also started,' but his pedals B'ruck the ground when round® ing the corner and threw him out of the race. He had only been used to riding on banked tracks.
High Jump.—Laurie-1, Barclay 2, Brownlee 8
