MR. GREENSLADE AT
KUAOTUNU.

KUAOTUNU, November 24. I Mr H. J. Greenslade addressed tho| electors of Kuaotunu in Ritchie's: Hall Inst night, there being a crowded audience, including a large number i f ladies.
Mr Marshall occupied the chair
Mr Greenslade was most cordially received and was repeatedly applauded.
At the close of the address a vote of thanks was proposed and an amendment of thanks and confidence Upon a show of hands being taken the amendment was carried by a large majority amidst loud and prolonged applause.
The meeting dispersed with tliree ringing cheers for "Greenslade, the young New Zealander."
Mr Greenslade left this afternoon for Mercury. Bay, Gumtown, and Whenuakite.
