This, however, is not likely to last long, as there appears to be still another' change ;in the character of the country asserting, itself,- and according to present'indications .the blue mineralised rock is again niaking its appearance, The exact distance to drive before the No. 4 main reef can be intersected has not yet been ascertained, as this depends on the underlie of the lode. It does not seem to vary much at No, 4 level, and if it does not alter Its underlie and maintains its proper course, the manager, Mr S. Howard, states that the reef should be to hand soon.
