_ Halifax, June 6. The colonists in Newfoundland are greatly dissatisfied at the the refusal of Mr Chamberlain to oppoint a Royal Commission to enquire into the resources of the colony and the operation of a treaty of obligation. The colonists claim that Britain ought to settle the French shore question or assist the. colony financially in its obligation.
