Thames Cricket Association
A meeting of the Management Committee of the Thames Cricket Associat'on w is held on Wedc c -:day night, th re being present —Messrs Watsoni(Chair), Adams, Akers, Graham, Lang, and Carter. Mr W. H. Newton wrote saying that the Franklin Cricket Association would be pleased to visit the Thames and try conclusions with the local reps.—The Secretary was instructed to write and arrange matters, and also endeavour to arrange a junior rep. match for the same date. Tararu Cricket Club wrote request-’ ing the use of the ground on February 26th, for their annual match with the North Shore Cricket Club,—Granted. Mr J, Lang was elected a member of the Programme Committee, who were instructed to draw upf a further programme providing two more rounds' for the senior and one more for the junior championship. The Secretary reported that Mr R. 8. Bush, S.M., bad donated a bat for the best average during the season. — It-was moved and carried, “ that this bat, kindly presented by Mr Bush, be awarded to the player who obtains the best average in championship matches, the player winning to have been engaged in an least ten matches played by his team.” Mr Bush was also thanked for his gift. This was all the business.
