The opening production "Hands Across the Sen'! by the abovo com pany has Ibeen one of the most successful dramas of modflrri times. Jt has occupied ■ the boards of the Theatre Royal, Melbourne, for upwards of two and a half months, and in Sydney it • was even more successful, in fact it has proved a veritable gold raiue to theatrical managers ever since its first production. Owing to its popularity . this was the piece Mr Woods produced for. the-Wairarapa benefit at the ' Theatre Royal. Sydney.
