Sydney, August 8, Tho steamer Catherlhun struck on the Seal rocks at 230 this morning, and saak in fifteen minutes. _ _ A boat containing tho captain, doctor, second mate, two other whito men, and 1C Chinese and crew landed at Forster. The others are supposed to he lost. Later.

Harpc r , Wilson, Adorns, Wolstenbolme (chief, second, third, and fourth engineers), Manning (chief steward), Jackson (quartermaster), three Chinese quartermasters), and a Chinese crew of 44. She carried as passengers.—R. Fraser, Crane, Copeman, Dr. Anderson, Captain Fawkes, MesdamesMattbews andLoring, Miss. ~ oring, and fifteen Chinese. Tugs have been sent from Newcastle to the scene of the wreck.
