(Press Association) 1 Perth, June 28. Hundreds of men have scoured the vicinity of the alluvial without finding traces of gold. The road is lined with toams bringing back men who aro.tired hunting for it; Rich gold has been found in the Pilbarra district. The stone was obtained at a depth of eight feet and the gold penetrates the reef from the hangingwall to the foot. It is also found ia large quantities in the casing of the reef. . na———n—■»■
