THE UNEMPLOYED QUESTION.
Wellington, July 27. With a view of ascertaining the positions of Local Bodies respecting the rendering of aid to the unemployed, the question was asked in the House to-day, if tho Government intended to ask the House to vote a sum of money to help local bodies to deal in a practical manner with the unemployed difficulty. The Premier answored in the negative.
