BANK ROBBERY IN TEXAS.

New York, June 27. A daring bank robbery ia reported from Longview, Texas. Four men visited the First National bank in that town, and ordering the president of the establishment and clerks to hold up their hands under threats of death, seized a sum of 2,500 dollars. The local officials and the citizens ondeavoured to intercept them, and exchanged many shots with the robbers,, one of whom was killed. The other three escaped on horseback. One citizen was killed and four wounded. Two of the latter, including tho City marshal, wero so seriously hurt that there is no hope of their recovery.
