New FEARNOUGHT.—This company, on Saturday, completed a crushing of 11 loads of quartz for the payablo return of 15ozs Bdwts of melted gold.

Psrth, December 2/ A rich discovery is reported at Blackborne'sminc, Southern Cross, Captain Pleibner, manager, has brought in specimens of exceedingly rich stond struck in the mine. He states that a large body of the stone was discovered in the 33ft, level. The samples submitted furnished results equal to lOOozs to the ton. Much excitement has been caused at Southern Cross over tho discovery, which is most opportune, owing to the fact that the meeting held at Adelaide on Monday to consider a winding-up of the company was adjourned till Friday next, j
