DoNEDiN, December 8. At the Police Court two young men named William Reid and John Dix were each charged with malioiously wounding Charlotte Gullon on November 26 at Dunedin.—Mr D. D. Maodonald appeared for Reid, and Mr Eanlon for DueSergeant O'Neill stated that the woman wasfouud in her house in Frederick street in an unconscious state, about 130 on Sunday morning, She was taken to tho hospital, whero it was found that she was suffering from wounds about the head, though the skull was not fractured. As she was not able to appear until Wednesday n remand until that day was applied for. • Remnnd was granted.
