' Tauranga, August 1. The cutter Dream, owned by Mr 3. Brain, of this town; arid captained by George Armour, has gone ashore on'the rocks at the Mount, at the entrance of the harbour,nnea r the place where the steamer' Taupo was wrecked, he was loaded with 250 sacks of maize, and left the wharf yesterday morning for Auckland. Owing to the recent heavy northerly weather a strong swell'was running 'outside, and when she reached it'she'got beyond control, and drifted on to the rocks. . Latest advices intimate that the damage to the cutter is not' serions, and that she can be easily floated, and so far the cargo has suffered little damage, i ' ■ ■
