A public mooting was held to-night to consider what steps.should be taken to welcomethe New Zealand football team on their' return from Australia. .The Mayor presided. ■ jThere were about 130 present. A large'influential committee, including several M.H.R.'s, were'appointed to carry out tho arrangements.
