Notice is hereby given that au Extraordinary Gcueral Meeting of the Saxon Gold Mining Company (Limited) will be held at the Chamber of Commerce Room, New Zealand Insurance Buildings, Queen street. Auckland, on TUESDAY, the 15th day of August, 1893, at 2,30 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, passing the subjoined resolutions. Should tho resolutions be passed by tho required majority they will be submitted for confirmation as special resolutions to a second Extraordinary Meeting, which will be subsequently convened.

Resolutions: 1. That it is expedient to effect an amalgamation of this Company with the May Queen Gold Mining Company (Limited), and that with a view thereto this Company be wound-up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies' Act, 1882, and that Dennis Gilmore MacDonnell be and lie is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up. 2, That the conditional agreement submitted to this Meeting, made between Dennis Gilmore MacDonnell on behalf of this Company of the one part and the May Queen Gold Mining Company (Limited) of the other part, and providing for a sale and transfer of the whole of the property of this Company to the May Queen Goldmining Company (Limited), in consideration of 20,000 Shares (one shilling and twopence per Sharo paid-up thereon) in the May Queen Gold Mining Company (Limited) to be allotted to tho members of this Company in the proportion of two Shares in the May Queen Gold Mining Company (Limited) for every flvo Shares in this Company be, and tho same is horeby approved; and that the Liquidator of this Company be and he is horeby authorised pursuant to Section 222 of'the Companies' Act, 1882, to adopt the said agreement and carry the game into cffcot with such if any modification as the said Liquidator may think expedient.
