Russell's pur chase of tho Now Find quite a boom has taken plaoo in this district, aud Messrs Cummins and Mnoro, contractors for conveying tho quartz broken out from the mine, to Mr T. 11, Ruaaell'a larere plant opposite the residence of Mr E, T, Oorbotti have now about thirty horses on» gaged in packing and slodgina. and it i? quite probable thafc\everal additional teams will be sbprt'y put'on in order to keep up a jjnod supply of quartz for treatment at the mill, which has once more started crushing According to the correspondent of the Te Aroha News an increased staff of hands are very busy getting out a number of tons of quartz for shipment to London for treatment there. The quality of tho stuff appears sp'cndid, sud we shall no doubt have eome« thing interesting to record in connexion therewith toforo very long.
