ACCIDENT TO THE BIS PUMP.

PUMPING OPERATIONS SUSPENDED A BATHER unfortunate accident happened a , the Big Pump about 2 o'clock yestsr day morning, and as a conseqnenco pump ing operations were imaiedia'ely suspended, The accident occurred to the new buoket-rod in the pumping column, which. it will be retnomberod, was only placed in position during September last.
